31 December 2020 was my last day as Executive Director of the Alzheimer Society of Montreal. Even though this was the most challenging year ever in my career, I can say without a doubt that 2020 was the best ever.

Having achieved almost all the objectives in our 2018-2023 strategic plan, and after three years at the Alzheimer Society of Montreal, it is with satisfaction and gratitude that I will be leaving my role as executive director by the end of 2020.

The Covid-19 crisis has brought to light the desperate need to care for our senior citizens, particularly those who are in long-term care residences. Most people want to keep their loved ones, particularly those with Alzheimer’s disease and related conditions at home.
