Following Hurricane Melissa, it’s time to rebuild better and stronger!
Hurricane Melissa has wreaked havoc, but Jamaicans are resilient.
I am thankful that all of my friends in Kingston did not suffer any major damage. In my beloved resort, Treasure Beach, and in Western parishes there is significant damage, but thankfully, minimal loss of life.
Canadians are rallying to support rehabilitation.
Here’s the thing…Jamaicans will get through this and build back stronger.
When there is a crisis, Jamaicans pull together, focus on the tasks that need to be done and manage efficiently and effectively.
We WILL get through this and build back STRONGER!
